Yenepoya Dental College was established in the year 1992 under the aegis of Islamic Academic of Education with an intake of 40 students for the BDS program under Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. Yenepoya Dental College is presently affiliated to Yenepoya (Deemed to be University) with the intake of 100 students per year for the BDS program and post-graduation in all 9 departments with a total intake of 57 per year. The college is recognized by the Dental Council of India.
